Bookmarks

Bookmarks let you create clickable jump points throughout a video. They’re great for highlighting key moments or building a video guide. 

Adding a Bookmark

1. Select a video from your gallery.
2. Open the More menu and select Edit Bookmarks.
3. Enter a Bookmark Name.
4. Choose to use the Current Position or enter a Custom Time.
5. Click Add Row.
6. Click Save Bookmarks.

You can create as many bookmarks as you want. To remove one, click the trash icon next to its title. 

AI Video Bookmark Generator

1. Click on your video to open it.
2. Select More, then choose Edit Bookmarks.
3. Scroll toward the bottom to click Suggest Bookmarks with AI.
4. Edit your AI generated bookmarks at the top if needed.
5. Click Save Bookmarks to apply your changes.

Please note: The AI Bookmark Generator is not available by default. Contact support if you do not see this option and would like it to be turned on for your district.

Sharing & Viewing Bookmarks

• Bookmarks will show as white markers on the video timeline 
• Viewers can click the bookmark ribbon icon in the bottom right of the player to browse and jump to bookmarks

• On the video’s page within MyVideoSpot, a list of bookmarks will be located underneath the player.
• Video links can be shared that start at a specific bookmark by clicking the share icon to the right.
